I believe they were hacking because I’ve played on the server for a while and I’ve never seen anything like it

If you come across rulebreakers, you can always report them to prevent them from further disturbing other players’ as well as your own gaming experience. For Bedrock Edition you can fill out this form to report a player. You’ll always get a reply telling you the status of your report. Make sure you’re following the reporting guidelines when reporting players :-)
