My vision of UnderDaSea:
A complete overhaul if the map , yet sticking to the original layout .
A bit of Moana inspiration along with The Little Mermaid .
Mid will be a lot bigger consisting of a large shell, surrounded by some rocks and coral reef in the corners , spread out to reduce chance of falling . It would also spiral downwards , leading to an emerald generator . There will be a fair amount of rocks where level 1 diamond generators will be located , at the centre of mid. At the bottom of mid is an emerald gen . At the very top , which is about at high as the tree in tree house lie tier 3 diamond generators. The bottom of the shell is as low as the base of islands .
Think of a tornado , dia 3 at the top. Diamond 1 at the middle , Emerald gen at the very bottom. Player islands are located at the y level which the middle part of mid is at .
This mid is conical in shape btw . Like an inverted cone .
Go ahead and fit Ariel in somewhere , idk and idc about her.
A lot more obsticles esentially. The spawn island should also be prettied up , consisting of fish , sharks and coral reef. Make is less symmetrical. Include a second iron generator.
It should be thrice as large as the current island . This would also mean it'd be placed a teeny bit farther from mid.
Egg placement is awful rn. Switch that up , make it less accessible
There should be a fair number if marine life in between mid and home , acting as individual islands , some lie above the island , and some below , building to the bottom islands makes access to the bottom of mid easy. Building ti the top islands makes accessing the top of mid easy . The centre of mid is easiest to access as mosr of these 'marine life islands' are positioned here
About 15 blocks from mid would be a ring of water , which you could swim in , barriers lie at the bottom. This would provide players new gameplay elements as well as making mid easier to reach
Changes like this are really needed for maps with emeralds.
My proposal is to make home islands bigger
To introduce a large mid , the size of rome's mid and with the height of treehouse's mid
Introduce fish , sharks , etc to act as small islands which make building to different parts of mid easier
