Unable to place Sugar Cane?

In Bedrock edition I finally unlocked swamplands. After killing all the mobs for the true anarchy quest I saw that I needed to go get sugar cane. I picked up some and wanna create a farm of my own now with it but every time I place it shows as if it is placed but I have the same amount in my inventory. It also disappears if I click it, left or right, or if I reload the chunk. Why am I unable to place it?

same problem with every crop and sappling.
and even all of my iron generator turned into grey terracotta...

Hi, this issue is currently under investigation by our bedrock skyblock developer. He will look into this and will try to fix this asap

The developers released a hot fix for this earlier today which is slowly updating across all servers.
