Java The problem with cubecraft eggwars

I have been playing cubecraft for almost 10 years now, but at this moment the server has reached it's all time low. Not only due to the removal of various games (which I wrote a thread about) but also the way how games are played, eggwars in particular. What I see is that the main focus of many players is not in playing the game but rather to win as fast as possible. This has led to every eggwars game to go as follows:
Whenever you want to join a eggwars game there is always a team of highly experienced ranked players who always vote the same game settings, come to your island literally seconds after the game has started and with their entire team wipe you out of the game. Done. That was it.
Now you have to be lucky to have some experienced teammates to even get a slim chance of survival, but other than that there is just no fun anymore in playing the game. Most games last no longer than 5 minutes and when you want to join another round the cycle repeats.
It's not that I am a bad player who is complaining that he can't win a single game (I maybe play mc once every few months), it is more the idea that if you are a solo player wanting to enjoy some eggwars you stand no chance surviving even two minutes. Perhaps this is the reason why the popularity of eggwars has been declining the past years

Well I kinda get your point, but I don't think Cubecraft can do much about it. They tried to make Eggwars more balanced back in season 2, but everyone hated it because it felt weird. I do like playing fast wins too with friends usually in full party, and yes games don't usually last very long if there are not full parties against us. I'd recommend forming party with someone to play with, if you don't want to solo against multiple people.

And from my personal experience I would avoid Temple, Western, Forest and Cyber city if I play alone against full parties, as they are the hardest maps to solo. Forest and Cyber city would not be that hard to do 1vs2, but some players vote hardcore items against good opponents on these maps, so that they can wins in less than 2 minutes. (Tell me you play for leaderboards without telling me you play for leaderboards lmao). I don't see joy in playing only for leaderboards my self either, but everyone can play like they want.
I think that Palace, Fairytale, Under da sea and Toys are the best maps to solo on as they are large and you can get stacked pretty quickly.
