Texture pack edit

Ok, so i have a texture pack i really like, but i want to make a small edit to the crosshair. How would i make such an edit? Im on java edition, and i play on mac. If any1 knows how to help out, that would be amazing

Yes, you have to go .minecraft/resourcepacks/gui/icons and you'd can modify the crosshair there. However you can still search a video on youtube.

You got to find your roaming folder, I don't know how this works on Mac, search it on YouTube.
When you're in the roaming folder you open .minecraft
Then you open the folder resourcepacks
Then you search for the resource pack you want to edit, unzip it if you haven't done that yet and then open it

Open the folder assets
Open the folder minecraft
Open the folder textures
Open the folder gui

Then you got to look for the file called icons
Open it with paint or photoshop
The crosshair is the thing in the very upper left corner!

I personally use Photoshop but it not easily accessable, as in you have to buy it. The software I used before photoshop is paint.net. I can really recommend you this software! It's easy to use, efficient and free. You can download it here: https://www.getpaint.net/download.html
