I don't know if it's just me but I have a problem when I place a certain block whick is a stone brick stair it always disappears and to fix it I have to rejoin and the block is there where I placed it. Please fix it, I just want to build myself a skeleton farm.

Sounds like a bug to me.
Record the process and report it on the website, so the developers can fix it.
