there should be elevators in sb so it is easy to access higher levels that people may have made on their island. the way these elevators will work is by placing a wooden pressure plate on the ground and another pressure plate above it or below it. To go up you will need to jump on the pressure plate and to go down you would shift

I don't really like this idea as I think it needs to be as natural as possible and this doesn't belong in skyblock. However, you can make a minecart elevator, it looks like this!
