Have you ever looked back at a screenshot or two,
When the laughs felt real and the friendships true?
When the chat was alive, and the days felt light—
Now it’s just silence in the dead of night.
Everyone’s offline, like they’ve vanished for good,
No trace in the places where once they stood.
You lay there still, wanting to cry,
No group chat left, just a quiet sky.
No pings, no posts, no late-night call,
No one to catch you when you fall.
You are alive, just barely so,
In a world where the warmest hearts let go.
Your finger hovers, “Delete All” in sight,
But something inside says, “Not tonight.”
You won’t erase what once felt right,
Even if they gave up the fight.
Life gets busy, and passwords fade,
And friendships crack that once felt made.
You DM 75, just one replies—
Is it worth the wait? Or just more lies?
This account holds joy, but also pain,
Every memory soaked in rain.
A digital graveyard, cold and true—
Of people lost, not dead, but through.
So here you sit with heavy head,
Typing to ghosts, rereading what’s said.
Is moving on the thing to do?
Or stay in the past, just to feel them too?
