Rules on OPTIFINE?

so i know there is a zoom feature to optifine, i have used this in games to get a better look at the enemy or to be able to see a bow shot from a long distance is this considered cheating, I've never seen a rule about it.

Optifine is allowed, so anything in it like the zoom feature is allowed.
