Remove The Fishing Rod in skywars?

Hello all ,

Im just suggesting that the fishing rod in SkyWars should be removed.

the reasons why is that it does not do much damage and i think that it used to knock back people (i am not too sure dont dont judge me on this) and it doesnt work for players for from 1.9 above

It does No knockback, But it would be fun to fish on your island, or If you're out of food, you're able to get Some food. I disagree, But the fishing rod is useless in PvP

not if you are in 1.8 or even in 1.9+ you can use it as a good distraction
and again this is good for getting food and many other items

I'm not sure, but I think that fishing rods acually work on 1.8 mechanics. Even though fishing rods are useless (Kinda) in 1.9, you can just leave it in the chest.

Anyways. I don't agree. It's nice to collect fishing rods and throw them at people

I think it should stay because it's helpfull in 1.8 (i think)

Agreed, and btw, its fun to see new people throwing a fishing rod, while it has no effect...

Yeah, With 1.9+ is useless, Since they don't do knockback, neither damage. But some people would like fishing rods to have fun, so that they can fish to get food at islands.

Yes, they should remove it in 1.9, I don't think they need to remove it in 1.8.

Fishing rods take the place of useful gear in 1.9 . They can remove it in that version, or modify it to do knock back.

I think they should remove it at least in 1.9 because I personally think it is useless. If you need food that badly, break the leaves of the tree and hope for apples :D

I think we should keep it. In OP Mode, you can use it to collect enchanted books and combine them with weapons on an anvil if you take the time. I think they add an interesting aspect to the game. Don't remove is my vote.
