What he means is to add a command that allows you to rejoin games that you previously had left due to unexpected kick or to ragequit. This is a feature hypixel has, he probably got the idea from there.

Logged onto Cubecraft Java for the first time since 2021/22. I miss these days playing every day when the server would average 5-8k. Looking through my friends list seeing all my friends I would talk to every single day gives me an uneasy yet satisfying feeling.
