yes i use the default texture pack

1-Restart your game and launcher
2-Restart WiFi
3-Restart pc
4-Try different version(1.12.1 for example)
5-If still nothing good happens reinstall Minecraft
6-Check if your banned for some reason by someone some time ago

Is this only a problem when you try to join CubeCraft or do you get this crash too when you try to join any other Minecraft network?
