Hello, private games would be very fun. Specially if you want to 1v1 friends or other people. It can be good because you can get better at pvp and have some fun with friends. However, it would be hard to have private games such as TNT run or games like Skywars, etc... It's much preferred to have a duel thing (in Java already exists) or others...

Private games are good for when you want to do party games, but overall gameplay not really. Once you have one player who can do insane mode in bedrock, basically you have a party, and then your squad usually does stuff in the public games and everyone has fun with the other people. If private games are added, a feeling of excitement would kind of go away and something more like a "which friend am I going to annoy first" comes up.
