Str 1 gives you 4 hits every hit if you sprint and jump (double crit) So yeah, super op. Maybe if he had perma poison as well, or maybe wither, so he either has a limited survival (wither) or can be killed in just a couple/a hit (poison)?

I think it would be better without the strength.
And I think at level 1, the kit should get a Sharpness 1 stone axe,
The higher the level. the better the axe. (Not the sharpness, just the type of axe, e.g stone, gold, iron and diamond.)
I like the str idea, but it could only work with a few edits. I think the barbarian should have leather armour (full) and str 1 with an iron axe (equal damage to a stone sword- rule is, sword=axe 1 rank plus, so a diamond axe is the same as iron sword etc.) but has either a poison or wither effect- wither is a slow damaging process, but it kills people completely and it makes it hard to see your hearts. Poison is quite quick, but it doesnt actually kill you and leaves you on half a heart, making a barbarian need to remain untouched to survive. This would allow for two things: More skillful and strategic usage of kits to battering someone fast with a sword, and it would provide variety in the kits which the devs are obviously trying so hard to implement. Dont know how gapples would go with this kit tho, Idk which is stronger. Maybe a poison with power enough to keep the regen rate slow but still regening when a gapple is activated?
