New game-mode idea: Live Long and Prosper (LLP)

I actually got this achievement...
1. Or you camp and wait till everyone dies...
2. You ask friends to kill everyone and then they kill themselves....

True challenge to that would be to do it the solo way. What's the fun doing it with help? Most cases, if you can survive for that long without encountering anyone, then you'll run into the last guy or another for sure. Your only ways of killing the player are to use lava, bait him to another player AND hope the other player fights the chaser, or water + TNT trap. TNT traps work only on basic or normal mode though.

A good player won't mess up so easily. The last player is usually adequate or really good against any matchup. In that case, chances are really low considering they captured extremely good items from fallen players and you didn't get any from camping.

If you're up against a mod or higher, good luck. They're unkillable thanks to their ability to be reincarnated on the battlefield. *cough cough @DontYouDare *

I would love to see this implemented. Maybe regeneration could be disabled. If I would male this, I would also add a few traps to the shop. That would be amazing :)

I think it would be an interesting way to play :D @hgbf said this gamemode would probably work best without natural regeneration. To balance that out though instead of players dying if they kill a player they take the damage that you deal out using weapons. This way you couldn't just punch everyone down to half a heart and eliminate them quickly

hey guys, I had a small idea of a new game mode that uses eggwars maps minus the eggs. What if instead of killing each other you live long!? this is still a last-man-standing game but basically if you kill a player, you both get eliminated (with an IF statement when there are only 2 players left so 1 can win) basically, you have to find a way to kill all your enemies without hitting them, because if you are the last one to hit them and they fall, you both die. but basically, this can be used to eliminate 2 players at once. It has the eggwars trading system plus a lava bucket for 32 diamonds and a water bucket for 16 diamonds to kill and protect yourself from players without hitting them. The basic player layout is [per island available] players 1 on each team.

please do think about this,@Tacosbefriends and @Wolfii?

Edit: also maybe there is a snowball in shop for 32 diamonds that when thrown doesn't count as you hitting the player. (devs pm me, I think I know a way to do this using entities if you want to know)

Edit 2: lots of people are saying the game will take too long, there could be a timer and once the time is up the border closes in etc.

I actually suggested a game like this a while ago where the point of the game was to kill each other in creative, indirect ways. It's a neat idea, but I don't think it lends itself well to Eggwars.
