my chat! :(

hello! so, in cubecraft PE, for some reason, i CANNOT see any chat. i can see automatic messages and other things like that, but anything else? zilch. if i type something, only i can see it, but nobody else can. receive chat is on as well. thanks in advance!

It sounds like you're shadow muted
I recommend you check up on this thread for a possible solution:

If your privacy settings are fine you could try watching this video to tackle the shadow mute from within the game:

This sounds like shadow mute plus another bug...

This can be one of two things. Either:

1. When you click on chat, go to settings and fiddle around with it... maybe something is muted there? It’s worth a try.

2. I’ve heard of a bug that’s worse than shadow mute where you not only can’t speak, but you can’t see messages either. This has no fix yet sadly.

Mind sending pictures of what exactly the chat looks like and chat settings? That would help.

I tried looking around in the settings and I think that you should ask your question on the official Minecraft support page. This isn't a Cubecraft issue but a Microsoft issue. Hope you find a solution!

You can try this:

• Chat is muted. You can toggle Mute to ON or OFF by opening Chat and selecting the desired option from the upper right corner.
  
  
• Your Xbox Live Privacy & Online Safety settings need to be changed. You can review your settings at account.xbox.com/settings. Specifically, Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites must be set to Friends or Everybody to send/receive in-game chat messages and invites. If set to Friends, you will only be able to send/receive chat messages from players who are your Xbox Live friends. If set to Everybody, you can send/receive messages from all Xbox Live players.
  

Tell me if any of this works, with on what device you're playing if it doesn't! And I'll take an other look

thanks for trying! i play on a samsung tablet, so i play on cubecraft pe. unfortunately, i was unable to access the web., so i think it may be an actual problem, not related to cubecraft or any other servers, like one kind fellow said. hopefully, i'll be able to solve it, but if you have any other tips, that would be great! :D

I tried it, and nothing happened! :(
i'm starting to think it may be that bad bug...

create a new microsoft account and buy minecraft again thats the only way i can see to do it, try other solutions first though
