Why would a Point Multiplier on 'infinitive' points break the system?

Take this for example I am going to go farm players for point in eggwars
is that allowed? no it is exploitation because you are likely trapping them and killing them for points *Cough Cough* @KronosReeper *Cough Cough* anyways adding them to eggwars encourages this

Why would a Point Multiplier on 'infinitive' points break the system?

Getting 30 kills per minute in a match of team when kill farming is definitely possible. Kill farming is one of the most annoying things someone can do in Eggwars, and a multiplier would encourage it a lot. Since you usually get a single point per kill, the points would be doubled. Since multipliers don't lose their effect mid-game, they'd be able to kill farm for as long as they want. Do we really want to encourage that?

This is a good idea for some gamemodes but it will kinda be op for MinerWare to get double points. You would almost have 100-200points each game that would be a bit to overpowered. So i thi k that you could add it for some smaller games where you have to kill people.
