We just wanted to quickly draft this post to give you some transparency about the Java rank system.
Recently we announced our move to 1.19- and that we had removed some games from our Java library, you can read about this here. With this we understand that the ranks are nowhere near the value they once were years prior.
As you would expect- we absolutely have plans to update our ranks & cosmetics to bring them into the new 1.19 network, we want to get them right in value and content to be inline with the 1.19 server. At this time this is not something that will be done for launch and instead will follow up afterwards.
Due to this fact we have disabled our rank purchases on the store until 2023 at the earliest.
Unfortunately doing a price reduction would require developer resources which we'd rather put into our free content on launch and our 1.19 migration, it would also be obsolete in the event that we upgrade all the ranks.
We hope you understand these changes and look forward to our future content regardless!
