[JAVA] Questions about server history.

A previous question I had got the answer that the server runs on 1.9 mechanics.
So does that mean we have to play "by that".
Example: Would a 1.16 spider farm work on this skyblock server?

Spawner mechanics are altered on cube craft slightly, so success may vary. However, in general most spawner mechanics over the (Minecraft) updates haven't changed much so good chance your farm works

that depends, if farm uses features which were added in versions above 1.9 then farm wont work properly
