Coding I made a mod, should I release it?

I made a mod that enables you to use custom color codes and with a "fancy" font.

I am considering releasing it but I'm scared to what the chat will look like if I do release it....

I prefer the mod isn't released. Even tho it's REALLY cool, and you did a great job, it will probably be abused and spammed too hard,so it should sadly not be available to everyone.

Release it, but also add an option to reverse those colors in your own client. Also in messages by other mod users of course.

I would prefer not seeing the chat filled with messages like that. Nice work nonetheless!

Would be nice if it could work only for people with the mod installed though.
