I can't get fish anymore

I don't get any fish. I used to get but now I can't get without lure or with lure or what ever I try. I am playing on Java 1.16.5 Optifine. Does someone know any solutions. Have tried on different islands.

Fishing's always been glitchy on servers.
It's especially bad with shallow, small pools.
Make an 8x8x3 pool to fish in, and 2 blocks deep. It will perhaps be glitchy, but that worked for me. And you can also remove it afterwards ;)
