The server is 1.8 and higher. Just edit your profile when you start up minecraft.

As said above. While playing Minecraft, simply use the 1.8 client. Using the 1.8 client, you can play 1.8 Egg Wars and Sky Wars. If you want to play 1.8 PvP duels, stay in 1.9, but join the queue for 'Classic Duels,' which is on the far left of the duelling options in the PvP lobby.

Hi KnousuzOyuncu, yeah 1.8 is back, just go to your launcher and click "1.8" and then launch the game. Hope this helped! Enjoy cubecraft!
