How will I do the emeralds quest?

To me it seems ridiculous that you should be expected to get 3 stacks of emeralds when you only are given 8 emerald gens to work with, even more so when you consider the fact that they take 4 hours to grow. Is there an easier way to do this? Buying one costs 4.2 mil, and my current melon farm gets me 2.2 mil per harvest and it takes 20 minutes to harvest all of it, so is that the only way of making it easier, or am I missing something?

There should be more than eight generators on the island, some of them are quite hidden. You can also use boosts to make them generate faster. Unfortunately Skyblock is just a long type of game, especially when you reach the later islands.
