For the starting kit, choose healer. Golden apples are seriously OP. The sharpness II iron sword is better than diamond swords. If you have iron armor that has "Fire Protection" in "Normal Mode" switch it out for Iron armor that has "Protection." Because you are new, I recommend playing the Doubles or Squads playlist so you can have teammates show you the ropes.
For Bridging, follow this tutorial -
In the end, practice makes perfect, and good luck!

any tips and tricks cuz im new to skywar
just get better.

Just kidding, first. Study your opponent's move. Get use to where they usually went when pvp'ing and then find their weaknesses. Try hitting their weakest point. Here's a tip, try leading a player to the 2 block higher ground and them jump off to the nearest ground so you can proceed to punch them easier and they can't fight back since they're on a high ground.

Secondly, try studying the lootables of the game. Once you get used to them, you should know what to pick and what not to pick. Thirdly, get a high fps because more fps = more cps. Before you ask yes cps and fps does matter in PvP. You also need to learn how to aim though.

Learn the loot tables, where chests spawn, and get comfortable with the maps. Try learning the bedrock jumpbridging if youre on pc and practice sprint bridging if on mobile, then learn what loot is good and what isn't, a sharpness 2 gold sword is better than a stone sword but has less durability, likewise fire protection Armor protects you from fire, but not other types of damage, projectile protection Armor protects you from bow damage but not other types and protection Armor protects from you from every type of damage, so if you find a prot 1 iron chestplate and you have a fire prot one iron chestplate, you might wanna switch. Then you need to know what material is better. Without enchantments, this is the list :- Diamond>Iron>Stone/Chainmail>Gold/Leather
Because of the way bedrock edition PvP works, A normal iron chestplate with no enchantments is still better than a protection 1 chainmail chestplate because it gives Armor points.
But enchantments change a lot, an Iron sword with sharpness 2 is better than a diamond sword, and a protection 4 iron chestplate is better than a diamond chestplate with protection 2. Then you need to practice how to click moderately (7 cps recommended, it's not needed, you can get 3000 wins with 4 cps too) and you need practice aim and hitting methods like blockhitting, strafing, d/a-tapping, w-tapping, comboing etc. And if you're still here reading this, you probably need to just practice. I didn't know any of this when I started and learner them along the way. Also recommended are short sword texture packs because they are generally better. There are some more tips like crit hitting, bows/snowballs and fast looting but it's better if you learn them in play rather than reading another long guide. Good luck for your first few matches Lol you're gonna suffer xd
