So a german youtuber by the name of "BastiGHG" had a video format where 100 players would run straight into one direction for 3 hours and the one who got the furthest would win and i think its actually a pretty neat idea! of course you cant make a 3 hour minigame, but on a lower scale i could actually see this becoming a fun minigame! it would basically look like this:
20-50 players have 30 minutes time, the map is gonna be either overworld or nether (on the overworld map, nether travel is gonna be disabled for obvious reasons), pvp is disabled, all 5 minutes you get a random buff, the further you are behind, the stronger the buffs are going to be, and lastly you wont be able to regenerate health (UHC)
