Does anyone know when exactly Egg Wars Was first added to Cube Craft?

I know that it was added prior to late July 2015 because of a forum post discussing new maps for CubeCraft's "most popular game", however I have been unable to find anything from before then. As a second question, I was wondering if eggwars was inspired by anything else, or if it was a fairly unique idea from the creators of the game on Cube Craft.
