Web Delete thread posts

Hai all,

My suggestion is not big, nor is it really necessary. Though it could be helpful. What I am suggestion is a delete button next to the edit button in case you want to delete your message on threads. Players will be allowed to delete their messages within 10 minutes. After these 10 minutes they will not be allowed to delete it anymore.

But, just like editing.. you won't be allowed to delete your message when the thread is locked.

Really agree with this idea, sometimes I want to delete a message so I just edit it and delete the text. But it will be much better if there is just a delete button.

The reason why I disagree with this is because people would start deleting their replies to threads when people disagree/contradict them, and even their own threads. All replies are valuable to keep on the record even if not popularly accepted, allowing members to delete their own content would only affect the quality of the forum's discussions.

Edit: one could also go and try deleting all messages with no likes in an attempt to get a better like/post ratio

What about a time limit? You can delete your message within 10 minutes. After these 10 minutes you won't be allowed to delete it anymore.

Definitely agreed! Sometimes I make a suggestion I regret my decision but I just can't delete it....
