I decided to play on the server cubecraft for a bit about a week ago and oh boy, the servers feels like it's stuck in 2024 at the moment as honestly, I feel like nothing has changed other then the player count of course and I just felt quite dissapointed about it to be honest and yes, other than bedwars and pillars of fortune getting an updates semi regularly. I feel like most of cubecrafts gamemodes are getting neglected. I won't speak for Lucky Blocks and Battle Arena and but for the other modes. It defenitly feels like that is the case. Especially skyblock which was my faviorite mode on the server and a mode that used to at least get around 800 to 1200 players a day is now sitting around 500 players a day and looks ever so likely that it will probably get removed due to cost cutting and then there is eggwars which in my opinion is being killled by bedwars and even if people say, "tHeY aRe tWo difFeReNt gAmEs," they are still way to simular to each other with the fact that they have simular goals and besides bedwars is just a more recognisable name compared to eggwars so obviosly new players are going to play bedwars over eggwars and even if a new player decided to play eggwars, the game is going to be less faviorable as eggwars is more slow paced and more complicated which is just going to push away new players aways so like I have said before, I won't be suprised if eggwars starts seeing gamemodes types such a mega closing down due to a lack of players and I will 100% be blaming that on bedwars and nothing else. Then there is skywars where once again nothing much has changed and the gamemode if anything feels like it's declining at a slow and sad rate where gamemode types will also most likely get removed due to a lack of players and don't even get me started with parkour which is just as abandoned as skyblock is at this point which its playercount pretty much being non existant and could also maybe face closure as well and lastly there is survival games and blockwars which are also at a sad decline as well. I hope to be wrong about all of this but at the same time like I feel like most of cubecrafts gamemodes, especially the onces that use to be the most popular/most notible are getting such low and sad player counts and it really upsets me. I just feel like the server doesn't seem to be doing enough to maintain the freshness of the gamemodes but I cound be wrong. This server used to be my faviorite minecraft server on bedrock back in 2021 and I used to even say that this server was better than the Hive back in 2021. Now I can't even agree with that statement anymore. Now I am not going to try and say that I want 2021 cubecraft back but what I will say is that I just want a frequenty updated cubecraft back because seasonal updates isn't what me and most players consider a frequent update. Now I know a lot of you will probably dissagree with my post and rightfully so as you guys are more active on cubecraft than me but as someone who has just recently came back to playing on this server for a bit. This I just what I thought at least so don't be too critical when I get everything that I say in this post wrong alright. Also sorry for the typo's and bad structure of this post.
