Competitive egg wars tournament

I was wondering if anytime in the near future there could be either a solo or team competitive egg wars tournament. I could be easily monitored by mods so that can be no cheating and maybe the winner could receive a rank.

Time zones would make this impossible.

I would love to have an eggwars tournament but it's not that easy due to time zones.

Why only for Eggwars. I would love it if Cube make for every game a tournament spread over the year. But the only problem is, it is hard to organize because of the different timezones.
