Forums tend to have a smaller pool of users than the Discord server. I think it's nice to reward a community member who actively uses all platforms of CCG (I personally hope it goes to someone who is genuinely active on the forums and genuinely would benefit from a rank upgrade but won't discriminate.) Besides, it creates excitement on the forums and also increases user interaction on behalf of CCG.
