While playing Eggwars, I notice that mite master is really OP, it is so hard to win a fight against someone with it. I some times purchase mite master instead of a discount.
I would suggest to reduce the amount of mites and their damage. Then this is something that you only purchase late game to have a little boost in your fights. This way you would only use mite master if you have quite some discounts for your team.
There could be a possibility so you just buy mite master, and that you will need to upgrade it to do more damage.
It would be nice, if mites do less damage to armor, so you will want to upgrade it
Cause it's so OP, it could be removed from normal and hardcore (I don't know if it's in there, I only play OP).
