i have the optifine mod but I don't wanna buy a cape.
There is a mod that you get a cape and you don't have to pay for it.
Is that mod allowed.
I have than optifine with a free cape mod.

Can I get banned if I use it

I'm pretty sure you won't get banned over a cape because this cape mod won't give you any advantage in the games. The cape is just for aesthetic purposes.
