cant hit other players glitch.

So, I was playing skywars as usual, until this person came up to me. I was hitting him, but he did not take any damage! WTF?! I was hitting him directly, and he would not take any damage! I hate when this happens! That player was VERY lucky, for that glitch to SAVE him. #PISSEDOFF also btw, please fix this very frustrating glitch.

Make sure of certain parameters first, there are things in the game that make some players immune to damage for a substatial amount of time such as regen items if your swinging and its physicaly not hitting the player
Are they slightly out of reach?
Are you or the other player lagging?
Are you hitting the player at all?

i would also suggest pressing F3B when testing it, (this turns on hit boxes)

First make sure the player isn't one of these:

Are they slightly out of reach?
Are you or the other player lagging?
Are you hitting the player at all?
