Hi,

I was playing bingo, and the thing that annoyed me the most was that hunger was enabled - sort of ruins the fun of the game for me. Like, you don't want to be worrying about hunger whilst trying to scout out your items - it also slows the game down a lot, which I think is a minus. Comment your thoughts below.

Thanks,

I think things like mobs and fall damage are more of a hindrance than hunger. Just axe-crit some cows and cook the steak while you chop trees and craft items. 10 steaks is usually enough to last you an entire game, assuming you don't take a load of damage.

EDIT: Could be wrong on this, but I think we made players start with more saturation to begin with, so that should hopefully help a bit.

And honestly I thought that the saturation had been decreased, but that may have just been me.

I've never had too many problems with food. After all, this game is supposed to test your vanilla knowledge & survival skill.
I usually kill a dozen or so cows/pigs & maybe a few sheep, and I usually eat the food raw until I'm smelting iron. While I smelt the iron, I may as well cook some better food.
The best way to go about the food problem is to hope to find a village with a carrot patch or two, effectively meaning that hunting animals for food is redundant.

I honestly think it should stay because it is part of the strategy and planning you gotta do. You need to worry about food just as much as the items you need for BINGO. If we would remove hunger because it slows the game down, we could also: Start the game with logs, everyone will mine them at the start anyway. Give everyone depth strider, water slows movement down. Or even add Haste or speed.

Or give everyone free X-ray so I am not playing against the rules anymore :)

I feel like in a game where one of the items is a cooked version of a food, those animals are made rarer for some reason o_O

If the food part didn't exist I think that most of the games would finish under 5-6 minutes. Starting with full saturation should fix the problem though.

A tip is that get steak/cooked pork (They fill up 4 full hunger slots) and wait until your hunger drops to 3 hunger bars (Where you can't sprint anymore) and then eat them. It should fill up your hunger bar and give you full saturation.
