Are mouse buttons and mods allowed?

Are mods allowed, If so, is there like a list of allowed mods? And 2nd of all i have a mouse with buttons on the side. Can i use them to help my hotkeys?

I think your buttons are allowed if they don't help you to get more clicks per second.
