Appeal codes

Hello
I am trying to help my friend get back to Cubecraft.
Then doing the appeal he is asked for a code.
the text looks like this
"Please enter your appeal code given to you in Minecraft"
He is not sure where to find the code. Is it something given to him then he logs into minecraft or the server??
Or should he look for it somewhere else ??

When you try to join the server, but you are banned you get the usual ban screen. Usually at the bottom you can find the appeal code.

Hey, if you try to join a friend in cube craft is there an appeal and that code is the code you need to use!
