I agree with bringing back axes to the game. There was no reason at all to remove them from the game on Bedrock since they were used as a tool and in rare cases a weapon. The removal of axes made wood so powerful because there were no axes, so it takes longer to mine them. I'd like to see them added to the bonus and middle chests, not at spawn chests.

I would find it very interesting to get an axe in the middle of the map, but the submid should also be able to get them

Submid chests are labeled as “bonus” chests. How I know this is because there is a small chance signs spawn in place where chests are and the chest is labeled (at least on Bedrock). Right clicking the sign spawns the chest there

Axes in SkyWars existed before the 1.19 update. I would like to see them make a return but not replace pickaxes because I think that those are the more commonly used tools.

On the brighter side, there is still a very small chance of finding a wooden ax in a middle chest
