A lot of suggestions are made that consist of only one sentence, sometimes they might be good ideas but you can’t really tell from one sentence. There is a thread with tips & tricks for making a suggestion, and it’s quite a useful one, but I don’t think it gets enough visibility by just being in the sticky threads, judging by the one sentence threads made multiple times every day. So why not add a link to the thread when posting your suggestion? It could be put underneath the “Is this already being discussed” and would look the same with the only difference being that you can’t click it away with the cross:
