1.14 1.15 and 1.16 pvp

I dont really know any other section to put this in but I guess this is as good as any. So it has been more or less confirmed that in one of the versions 1.14-1.16 that there will be a big pvp "Overhaul" It may not be 1.8 pvp exactly but how would the community respond to this. We know most of cubecraft is pretty dead set on the cooldown thingy. So eh idk ^

All I hope is in those updates is a /gamerule oldpvp toggle command so the game doesn't dry up.

I honestly wouldn't mind seeing a combat gamerule. Lots of people have mentioned it, and I genuinely can't disagree with it for any reason.
As for the overhaul: I don't know if it's a good idea to go through with it, especially with the backlash that 1.9 got. Looking at the replies on Docm's tweet, I can safely assume that everyone's hoping for the return of 1.7/1.8 in some way (along with a bunch of triggered 1.9 fans bashing them for no reason).

and tbh if pvp is reverted to 1.8 ccg is done for unless they shift focus back to free build, everybody knows cubecraft is nothing without the 1.9 community behind it

They might try to make a hybrid system between 1.8 and 1.9 to try for the most effective bridge over the divide.

Even when it get's back to 1.8 i won't play it, i hate playing 1.8 without blockhits. We can also stick up to 1.13/1.14 where the pvp overhaul didn't happen and we'll be able to play our lovely 1.9
