how do i get to #1 on the parkour gold medal leaderboard cuz I'm 5th even though i have the same as first

I read in the rules mini-maps with players are not allowed but wanted to clarify if this fell under the category. I use a mini-map on the better pvp mod which shows a players location around my close area but only shows the persons location when not shifting. Would this be allowed?
