Map Description
Why this design ?
we chose this unique theme for duels to play with the contrast between light and dark tones, then break up the monochrome palette with soft touches of purple and gold. We felt these colours complement each others really well, adding more depth and characters while giving the map a unique and striking atmosphere for duels. These palette was also inspired by the cosmetic galaxy bundle.
the pvp arena itself follows the 50X50 size guideline and feature a carefully designed floor, and all decorative elements outside remain within 100 blocks. The arena is entirely close using barrier blocks.
As someone who is currently on 3 arena leaderboards, I wanted to use my experience and knowledge with this game mode to make it fair and focus to fight, the arena is flat no obstacle will be in the way.
I choose to use bedrocks underneath the arena to prevent players from building downwards / camping / staling or extending fight. Players can still build up with a maximum build height of 12 blocks, keeping building as a part of the gameplay while preventing it from being abused.
Lastly, I’d like to thank my friends @KB4O @DK6V @ Teamgelb92 who helped me bring this project to life. Some of them are also leaderboard players, bringing their own experience and knowledge of the game, while every member contributed their creativity, ideas and effort to make this map something truly unique
