The Cubecraft League was announced a while ago now. Its currently in the testing stage, which is possible to see in the update section of the forums. There have already been a few information about it that were made public. For example:

- The games will be Eggwars 4v4s
- There will be slightly changed Eggwars To4 maps with 2 spawn islands removed

As we might be close to the release of the league, the community is exited for it.
What are your thoughts of the Cubecraft League?

For some transparency, we have spent the past days to fix some gamebreaking bugs like eating while running, drinking potions automatically etc. to make sure matches are fair before we start anything. The next hurdle is to implement cubecraft league specific code that allows for a deathmatch to be played, without messing with the original eggwars (as they are esentially the same gamemode, just different maps). We definitly need a deathmatch implementation to make sure matches dont last 4 hours and have a clear outcome.

hey just a suggestion, can u guys make it like all players have infinite night vision? so people who dont use clients and play vanilla doesnt have unfair advantage against people who uses utility client

While I will not be playing in it, I might be spectating the matches if that's possible. I'm interested to see how it goes.

Thanks for the transparency, but if you want to make the games fair for everyone. I recommend that drag clicking and double clicking gets banned or that those clicking methods gets nerfed via right clicking CPS limit (the limit should be 10-15 cps, not higher than 15). It might be an unpopular opinion amongst sweats though, but with these nerfs, it prevents prolonging matches even though like what you said, a deathmatch will be added to EggWars League.

I do Agree on nerfing Right click cps. People mostly use AC/Macro in the name of drag placing 20 blocks in 1 frame and not falling in void once as well. but nerfing Right click cps is a good choice

That's something that would need to be discussed independently from the league, as we just follow the server rules. If drag clicking and double clicking is unfair, then it should not be allowed in the first place on the entire server. I know that this is a heavily discussed topic, but i dont make the rules and as long as the global rules wont change, the league rules will be the same.

How this system is supposed to work, you could perfectly just get as many resources as possible and wait for the deathmatch

if you just camp on your island the other team gets the diamonds and has a better winning chance in the deathmatch

i was referring in general to getting as many resources as possible, avoiding breaking eggs, although a fight, being a 4v4 map, is inevitable, but in the case that neither of the 2 teams manages to break the egg, the best thing would be to get resources and wait for the fight. one question, in all the scrims the egg always has an obsilian layer already placed and there is a kit to go to the middle, will either of these 2 things be in the league?

i mean if the teams want to do that, feel free, the deathmatch does not really change anything other than it forces people to fight sooner or later. The strategy you mentioned exists even when there is no deathmatch. There is no obsidian layer as if i make it part of the map, it's unbreakable. No kit restrictions
