I started playing Cubecraft back in early 2020. The community/lobby was so fun/welcoming.
I enjoyed stream sniping people like RelatedNoobs, realjaycg, FPSSaltyRacoon, etc, or even just running into other sweats. No one would change their game plan, they rushed their side bases, and they got the standard leather armour and stone sword. Obviously this has changed; players nowadays completely change their gameplan by rushing diamonds, rushing obby, skybase, etc. Like jeez bro, your life is not on the line if you lose a game with a sweat in it, I swear!
Toxicity, The main reason that i am leaving is just do to the toxicity. I noticed that when the new people joined the server and just started being toxic for no reason, saying things like: "too easy, you're bad, get on my level, you're a non". Like bro, congrats on winning a Minecraft minigame, i guess... Lol, Grow Up.
And on the flip side, if I do beat a sweat they say things such as: "you target". My guy, I did my normal rush, I don't even go to lobby 1, who are you? I've never seen you in my life, so why would I target you?
A couple of updates that slowly made me leave cube -
Knockback- I don't mind this new kb (neither am i bad at it), but i personally like the concept of the old KB where it would be like a typical survival world kb. Many of my mobile friends quit because they just get sauced with this kb
Map releases- Maps have gotten so big and complicated
The big eggwars update map - Healer kit, changing up the shop, elytras, buffed gens, just to name a few was probably the last straw. It has promoted camping, and sweats who camp can make he games so boring. This was definitely the last straw for me (I know majority love the new eggwars update which makes sense because cubecraft catered to the new playing style. Good for you, but I don't play/enjoy that style)
Anyways that's about it. It was fun while it lasted, grinding leaderboards and getting all the way to 6th, stream sniping, facing sweats, talking to the community in lobby. I solute the few bit of you that don't make my games long/boring.
