That would destroy this map, I would leave of as it is, because this map is wonderful now.

I don't think so; I've never had that problem.

He isn't suggesting to change the map, he's suggesting to make instruments appear more on the gameboard.

Lots of people have different opinions on every map, and I personally don't like instruments very much. Having this appear more wouldn't effect me too much, but it would effect the current map generating system they have for worse of for better. I'd keep it as is to keep things simple. After all, you don't have to play the same map every time you have the chance to.
