What do the shulker and snowman upgrades for necro towers do?

Funny, I'd expect somebody to mention it on the forums at some point. I guess I'm the first one to ask about it?

I don't think so, it would be weird to have an upgrade that counters only one troop type.

Okay, so apparently, the shulker does 30 damage per hit, and can hit air troops.

What about snowmen?


EDIT: The shulker bullets also seem to be able to hit troops long after they left the radius of the tower. Much like vanilla shulkers.

Just like snowmen in minecraft, can damage blazes. Most likely to be good against blazes

So I bought the snowman upgrade.

It costs 410 coins, deals 25 dps, has 14 range, can attack air troops, and doesn’t seem to deal extra damage to blazes.

Oh. But idk why is snowmen path 2 added?

I don't know a lot about TD but:

Shulker: High damage but slow. Also a thing that people have noticed is; If the target dies, all shulker thingies "reset". <-- Don't know if that's correct tho.
Snowman: Damage is lower than shulker but more consistent. Also faster :p

So IMO <path 2 snowman> is better :p
