And I've never played on that map but it looks cool, any reason for which it was removed?

Trust me it honestly looked amazing but the gameplay was just awefull.
Also, the map was built in 1.8 when Glass Panes still had an + Shape instead of the ''pole'' we have now.
This means if it would we re-added, parkouring to the other islands will be nearly impossible.

Galaxy (Solo)
- This is a map which has been hated a lot by players due to the major advantages other players have depending where you spawn
- 1.9 changed the way glass panes work, making it even harder to parkour
- Glass panes can be laggy to players with rubbish computers
- No PvP space
- It was a night map

I didn't like Galaxy a lot. If you build to your neighbour and you jump on his island, you have chance to fall between glass panes. [That's what happened to me a lot of times]

Also it wasn't really comfortable to PvP. Because of the small islands.

I really hated that map, because of the campers. Glad Its gone.

-You cant pvp on this map.
-The map wasnt fair because the spawns.

I don't really like That map.. also When it was basic you was getting iron very easy because it was by Some islands near you. And it's hard to parkour. But.. I want the old times back. Old maps etc, I liked That better That Some maps are removed now :c
