Tips to get better at 1.8 PvP?

I've always been really terrible at 1.8 PvP, it was never my thing. I only got into PvP since 1.9 came out because I'm pretty decent at that. But I still wanna master the old school PvP system. Got any tips for me?

-Criticals.
-Reach.
-Many cps (I'd suggest more than 8 if it's possible for you), more cps=more damage.
-Side hits or attacks.

Also just remember that apparently 'jitter clicking' is bannable now, as it somewhat triggers the anticheat.

i think that you have to:
----------------------------------------------------------
-strafe: walking around someone.
- criticals: just jump and hit.
- jittter: but this is not alowed at Cubecraft, so don't do that.

It triggers the anti-cheat if people pretend to jitter click but are actually auto clicking :P Jitter clicking is perfectly fine

I think the most important thing is to chain your hits by jumping and spamming the mouse left click

Move a lot at right And left And stay clicking. I think that There arent a lot of tips.
