Gear Upgrades (Eggwars)

So i was thinking something like an addition of blocks (Iron blocks,Gold blocks, Diamond blocks) each would cost the same amount as it would to craft 9 of that resource so with the implement of these new blocks you can purchase gear upgrade

Iron blocks go to haste
Gold would go to protection
Diamond would go to sharpness

There cap out points i believe should be as listed below as well

Haste should have a cap out at III
Protection at IV
Sharpness IV

I think a update like this would bring back a lot of missed fun of Eggwars don't get me wrong it's still my favorite mini game just really been getting bland lately and i think it needs new items to bring back some joy. i hope you take this idea into consideration and feel free to expand on the idea.PI-

I don't think it's a good idea, making it the same price is already a pretty weird thing, everyone would buy the diamondblock.

I'm not sure about this, its not a good idea cause it may, in a way kinda ruin the fun for players

This idea would only really work in the modes other that OP, where there aren't the OP enchants. Though I feel that this isn't really needed.

This also makes me think of a certain popular gamemode on another server.
