If you wont speak they will get that somethings wrong they should get it that your not ignoring them, and theirs clearly something wrong just wait till you get unmuted. Because there isn't much you can do unless you have them on skype or anything like that.

If you have Discord/Skype/TeamSpeak and your friends have that as well, you can tell them that you're muted via Discord/Skype/TeamSpeak. There is no way to say it on the server because you're muted.
