No. Someone could hack in public/friends house wi fi. That would mean the friend/innocent player is banned too :)

No, los hackers son baneados por UUID que significa Identificador Único Universal (en inglés Universally Unique Identifier). Ellos no banean por IP ya que, como han dicho antes, la cuenta puede ser jugada en un lugar aparte dejando a ese lugar inaccesible para que otra persona que quiera jugar Minecraft no pueda.

That is probably the worst idea. There could be tons of false hacks. Right now, mods are banning hackers ASAP

Even then, the anti cheat does not ban or kick hackers. It just kicks @TheJeroen and other legit players rather than hackers. Luckily, they're trying to improve the anti cheat.

I believe Ip-Ban is necessary, since they will eventually be ban, now if there well known, and keep hacking from the same IP, then they should

Thats why vpn banning was created back in late 1.7 versions, still exists but not widely used
